Prints
We love to make prints of our art.
Almost all of the images on the website can be fine art prints. Generally the prints can be made at any size, except if the origainal image has a size limitation based on its resolution. We won’t release anything that we are not proud to sign.
We use a Canon 8400. It’s an archival ink, 12 color, 44” printer. Our favorite printing papers are from Hahnemühle, a German paper mill in which has been making artists’ papers for many centuries.. We love their papers for their hand-feel, archival longevity, and they have gorgeous tone and color reproduction. We also use Epson Signature printmaking papers as appropriate for our smaller prints.. These are among the finest and most expensive art printing papers. We believe that the results are worth it!
Richard has re-set up his darkroom. What a hard process to make everything work! Going back in time is tricky; but this antique process benefits from Richard’s new l.e.d. techniques – the prints are now better. An advantage of analog darkroom photography is authenticity, with no digital manipulation. Prices of darkroom prints are by quotation. Each silver print is the result of many test prints; it’s always the best print we can do.
Satisfaction
If you don’t want the print, please send it back. If it is in good shape we will refund the purchase price. It is entirely up to you to decide whether to keep, or return, our artwork. We want our collectors to be thrilled with our work. In the very unlikely event that anything happens to our artwork, like fading or staining, we will replace it with a new print, as long as we are alive and kicking.

Larger prints are by quotation.
Many images don’t fit these sizes because of how they are composed. The sizes above are approximations. If the image you want is very horizontal or vertical then this is an alternative method of pricing. If an image has a greater dimension than these lengths below, it goes to the next higher price tier.

SUSTAINABILITY
We use 100% recyclable packaging and materials.
Always get the print before you have a matt cut!! We can made a print to fit an existing frame and mat - if the proportions are right. Please measure the mat opening precisely before we make the print and we will try to fit it correctly..
Most of the images on this website are available as custom made prints. We’ll be happy to answer questions. We take credit cards over the phone, arrange shipping and insurance, and pack our artwork to survive shipping. It’s safe to get our work.
